- Does Fair & Lovely have any side effects?
Fair & Lovely products are suitable for all skin types and are not known to have any side effects.
However in case of specialized skin condition or any special skin treatments, it is recommended to consult a dermatologist.

- Is Fair & Lovely suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Fair & Lovely Ayurvedic Care has been specially formulated for sensitive skin. However, in case of skin that is extremely sensitive, it is best to check with a dermatologist before applying Fair & Lovely.
- Can Fair & Lovely be used everyday?
Absolutely. Fair & Lovely has been tested and developed for everyday use.
- Is the fairness effect permanent?
No. The effect is reversible. The skin will return to its original tone in a few weeks, once you discontinue to use the product. In fact this is one of the key safety attributes in all our products.
- How much fairness can I expect from Fair & Lovely & how long will it take?
Each person's skin is unique. The extent to which Fair & Lovely products will lighten depends on the biologiocal build up of that individual's skin. Fair & Lovely ensures visible radiant fairness for each skin type, This may take 4-6 weeks depending on the Fair & Lovely product you are using.

- How should Fair & Lovely be used for the best results?
For best results, as advised on the back of packs of our products, these should be used 2 times a day preferably after washing the face so as to ensure that dirt, dust and grime are removed from the skin prior to applying the product.
- Can Fair & Lovely cure major pigmentation such as birth marks, scars, etc.?
Fair & Lovely is a cosmetic product. Cosmetic products are not intended for treatment or cure of a medical condition on skin.
Our technology is cosmetic in nature and is not intended for 'treatment' of a medical problem such as hyper-pigmentation. Our products deliver a perceivable skin lightening to the consumers and help address other skin issues (such as sun related darkening, oily look, rough appearance) which are all deterrent to perceiving fairness. We have specific products (i.e. our Anti marks range) which have been specially formulated to be effective on transient skin factors such as under-eye dark circles and post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (marks left behind by pimples etc.). However, all of these are transient issues and not any medical problem such as hyper-pigmentation disorder.
- Some people experience darkening of skin after using fairness creams. Will a Fair & Lovely product also do the same?
This happens only when one uses cheap & unsafe skin lightening products that contain harmful ingredients like hydroquinone, bleach, steroids, mercury, etc. Fair & Lovely range do not contain any of these harmful ingredients, hence Fair & Lovely will keep your skin in safe condition.
